Comforting yet lively, it is an approachable Colombian classic that works beautifully as espresso.
FARM STORY
This coffee comes from the Laboyos Valley around Pitalito, one of Huila’s most important coffee-growing areas. Coffee farms climb from the valley into the surrounding mountains, reaching elevations of up to 2,100 metres where cooler conditions help the cherries develop slowly and evenly. The region is home to thousands of smallholder producers, with Caturra remaining a preferred variety for its consistency and quality in the cup. Carefully washed and Excelso graded, this coffee reflects the high-altitude farming, rich landscape, and generations of coffee-growing knowledge that have made Huila internationally renowned.
