ABOUT THE BEAN

From the celebrated highlands of Sidamo, this Bombe lot is an elegant expression of Ethiopian coffee at its finest. Syrupy yet light on the palate, it opens with vibrant aromatics and unfolds into juicy notes of blackberry and cherry-like sweetness, rounded by a gentle brown sugar warmth. The cup feels lively and refined, offering a fruit-forward clarity that remains smooth and beautifully balanced from first sip to finish. With an impressive SCA score of 88.75 and a 7th place recognition at the Cup of Excellence, this coffee captures both prestige and pure sensory pleasure.

FARM STORY

Sourced from the Bombe area within Sidamo, these beans are grown at elevation 2350 m.a.s.l, where cooler climates slow down the maturation of the cherries. This extended ripening period allows the beans to absorb richer nutrients from the soil, developing deeper sweetness and layered complexity. Harvested between October and January, the lot reflects the meticulous care of highland Ethiopian farming, resulting in an exceptionally aromatic and expressive cup that stands out for its clarity, juiciness and competition level quality.
