ABOUT THE BEAN

Our Ethiopia Sidamo is a beautifully balanced coffee that showcases the elegance and complexity this origin is known for. Roasted in our first-ever Nordic style medium roast, it sits perfectly between light and medium, offering a smooth and creamy body with a gentle yet distinct dark chocolate undertone. The cup is refined and comforting, making it easy to enjoy while still delivering the layered character that Ethiopian coffees are celebrated for. It works wonderfully in lattes and iced espresso drinks, offering a clean, flavourful experience that appeals to a wide range of coffee lovers.

FARM STORY

Grown in the highlands of Sidamo, this coffee comes from one of Ethiopia’s most respected coffee-growing regions, often regarded as home to some of the finest coffees in the world. The beans are cultivated at elevations between 5,000 and 7,000 feet, where cooler temperatures slow down the growth of the cherries, allowing them to absorb more nutrients and develop deeper complexity. Harvested between October and January by smallholder farmers who have cultivated coffee for generations, Sidamo coffees reflect Ethiopia’s long-standing coffee heritage, producing cups that are smooth, balanced, and quietly expressive in their character.
