A bag’s price tells you what you will spend today. Its weight and your brewing recipe tell you how far that purchase will go. When comparing coffee bean prices in Pakistan, begin with those two things before deciding whether a coffee is expensive or good value.
A 250g bag and a 1kg bag can look very different at checkout while having different costs per brew. Origin, processing, roasting and packaging add context, but the most useful comparison starts with the same quantity of coffee.
Compare the same weight first
Divide the bag price by its weight in grams, then multiply by 100 to find the price per 100g. This gives you a consistent basis for comparing different pack sizes.
For example, a 250g bag priced at Rs. 3,600 costs Rs. 1,440 per 100g. A 1kg bag of the same coffee at Rs. 12,300 costs Rs. 1,230 per 100g. The larger bag costs more upfront but less for the same weight.
That does not automatically make it the right purchase. A bag is good value when it fits your budget, your preferred flavour and the amount you can realistically use.

The following are selected examples from our range, not a market-wide price survey. Prices were checked on 18 October 2026, Pakistan time, and may change. Follow the product links for the current price and available options.
| Coffee | Bag | Bag price | Per 100g | Coffee cost at a 20g dose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ZLS No. 13 | 250g | Rs. 3,600 | Rs. 1,440 | Rs. 288 |
| ZLS No. 13 | 1kg | Rs. 12,300 | Rs. 1,230 | Rs. 246 |
| Euphoria V2 | 250g | Rs. 4,000 | Rs. 1,600 | Rs. 320 |
| Euphoria V2 | 1kg | Rs. 12,900 | Rs. 1,290 | Rs. 258 |
| Brazil Minas Gerais | 250g | Rs. 4,400 | Rs. 1,760 | Rs. 352 |
| Brazil Minas Gerais | 1kg | Rs. 14,200 | Rs. 1,420 | Rs. 284 |
These calculations use the bag price and coffee weight only. They exclude delivery, milk, filter papers, water, electricity, equipment and coffee used during dialling-in. They are not a claim about the full cost of a café drink or home setup.
Work out the cost of your own recipe
Multiply the bag price by your dose in grams, then divide by the bag weight in grams:
For ZLS No. 13 in a 250g bag, an 18g dose costs Rs. 259.20; a 20g dose costs Rs. 288. Neither figure is a universal cost per cup. The recipe and the number of drinks made from it matter.
Our balanced V60 recipe uses 20g of coffee and 320g of water for one calculator serving. Espresso recipes use a different beverage yield. Use the dose that matches how you actually brew, rather than comparing a large filter coffee with a small espresso as though the drinks were interchangeable.

Why coffees can have different prices
Two coffees of equal weight can still represent very different purchases. Origin, producer, processing method, lot size and supply conditions can influence the cost of green coffee. Roasting, quality control and packaging also form part of bringing that coffee to the customer.
Those factors provide context; a higher price is not a promise that you will enjoy a coffee more. A distinctive fruit-led lot may be exactly what one drinker wants and less appealing to someone looking for a familiar chocolate-led cup with milk.
Read the product’s information alongside its price. A useful description should help you understand what the coffee is and what kind of cup to expect. Ask for more detail when an unfamiliar label is doing most of the work of explaining the price.
Is a 1kg bag better value?
For the three examples above, a 1kg bag costs less than four 250g bags of the same coffee at the prices shown above. That is a saving on the coffee purchased, but it comes with a larger upfront spend and more coffee to store.
At 20g a day, 250g represents 12 full brews with 10g remaining, while 1kg represents 50 brews before allowing for losses or recipe changes. For a household brewing several times daily, the larger bag may be practical. If you switch coffees frequently or brew only occasionally, a smaller pack may suit you better.
Choose a size around your consumption and storage habits, rather than choosing the lowest unit price in isolation.
Buy for the way you drink coffee
ZLS No. 13 is described in our current range as a medium roast with chocolatey, nutty and creamy notes. Euphoria V2 is also a medium roast with nutty, chocolatey and creamy notes. Brazil Minas Gerais is a dark roast with sweet, fruity and chocolatey notes.
These descriptions are a starting point for choosing, not a guarantee that everyone will taste the same thing. Brewing, water and whether you add milk all affect the cup.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the price of coffee beans in Pakistan?
There is no single price that represents every coffee, seller and pack size. The table above shows examples from Red Berry Roasters. Compare the same weight, check the product page and include delivery when assessing your final purchase.
How many cups does a 250g bag make?
At a 20g dose it provides 12 complete brews with 10g remaining. At a 15g dose it provides 16 complete brews with 10g remaining. Actual use depends on your recipe and any coffee used during grinder adjustment.
Is ground coffee cheaper than whole beans?
For the three coffees in the table, whole beans and the different grind options have the same price at each pack size at the time of checking. Check the selected option on the product page before ordering.
Does a higher coffee score mean I should buy it?
A score provides context but cannot decide your preference for you. Choose using the product information, tasting notes, brewing method and your budget together.
A better comparison starts with your cup
Compare weight first, calculate the cost of your own dose, then choose a coffee you want to drink. A smaller bag of something you enjoy can be a better purchase than a larger bag chosen only for its unit price.
